True, the Bills could have fired thier GM a month ago and still used his draft board.maybe so they don't look like the Redskins ?
Just saying

So you can prep for the next draft. This was always a lame duck offseason. I'd wager the HC has more sway over this particular draft than he will the next few, not Whaley. My question. Why the day AFTER the draft.

Well we know it won't be Whaley. So you can prep for the next draft. This was always a lame duck offseason. I'd wager the HC has more sway over this particular draft than he will the next few, not Whaley.
Doesn't help that NFL fans aren't enamored with Trubisky as much as NFL scouts.I really don't understand all the hub bub with the Bears. They gave up a 3rd and a 4th to make sure they got their guy. None of you know for certain that there wasn't other teams lobbying to trade up to get him. They then recovered the 4th by trading down 9 spots in the second. So a 3rd, and a 3rd next year for what they believe is the future at QB? BFD. I sure wish they would've done the exact same thing in 2014 to ensure they got Aaron Donald, who went one spot ahead of them, and whom they were targeting, but sat on their hands in hopes he'd fall to em'.
This. You have to wait until after the draft if you are going to clean house because you need scouts in place to evaluate players all college season and help you select. This isn't unusual.
and all the scouts? Maybe the owner sat in on the war room discussions and felt they were all unprepared and didn't know what the Heck they were doing? My question. Why the day AFTER the draft.
