One of the opponents was #6 in total defense, yup....18 point win. We're getting ready to play them again. We seem to play better this year away from home.

Rematches happen. I'm sure its already been said, but Auburn/Georgia was already played. Does Auburn get handed the SEC trophy due to prior circumstances?

I still think TCU is better than OU. I guess we will get to see without any home field advantage.

That whole deal was the Big 12's fault as it was ridiculous to not name Baylor the champion when they won the head to head. Since the conference showed they had zero balls now they have to play a CCG.

But TCU was the best team in the Big 12 at the end of the year. The head to head meant nothing. Ohio State just proved how worthless conference titles and CCG's are. Bama is about to do the same thing.

Both teams were 11-1 and Baylor won the head to head. The fact that the Big 12 did not have the balls to give Baylor the sole claim to the championship is why you now have a conference championship game.

Baylor would have been left out had they been named sole champion, no doubt about that, their ooc slate was way too weak.
SO the Big12 tried to let the committee name the champ in hopes of at least getting TCU in and the committee slapped their hand as they should have. this ccg didn't come JUST from the BU/TCU deal, if so we could have set this up 2 days after the snub.

I have no problem with this, hell they could very well be better on Saturday, but what are you basing this belief on?

Do you think that the home-field advantage OU had was worth 18 points?

I'm okay with conference championship games if every conference has one. Now, they do. I'd like them even more if they resulted in "win and you're in". Hopefully, that's not too far away. I ask again---What is the point of winning your conference if it doesn't put you in the playoffs?
