Supposedly Snyder has informed his banking team that he will not sell to Bezos because he thinks the Washington Post has been mean to him.

I would be pretty happy if Bezos bought the Seahawks.

I would also because I think they’d be safe with him, he’s been in Seattle for a long time so I doubt he’d ever want to relocate..

I actually met the Bezos family when I worked for a small moving company. We moved them to a big house on a island and actually stayed out there in a hotel for 3 days. It was 5 of us and they were really nice to all of us and fed us some AWESOME food every lunch and dinner. Wow that was a long time ago. Memories

God I am glad I stopped being a "relocation engineer" lol Good job for people in their late teens early twenties but not something you want to do for a living haha.

They do have strong ties to the area and they have a LOT of money thats for damn sure.

too political and too megalomaniacal. look what happend to the sonics when howard schultz owned them.
Schultz was still trying to get mega rich, Bezo is well past that. Also no stadium issue with the Seahawks.

You think he will keep his fingers out of the pie?
Will he get bored and dump the team to whatever out of town owner makes the highest offer?
He should stick to rocket ships.

Aren't those questions we would have about ANY new owner?

Personally I would prefer an owner who has more things to worry about than just the Seahawks.

Will any owner keep his fingers out of the pie? Bezos has so many things to juggle that I don't see him being hands-on. Why would he dump the team, it's a status symbol for the ultra-rich.

Plenty if owners dont get involved, Paul allen didnt until he absolutely had to.

Allen was also a legit football fan, he bought the team for the city. bezos is just a billionaire looking for a new toy. Fuck that.

Snyder is reluctant to sell the Commodes to Bezos, and this may be a way of getting him off the pot. Or, he may prefer the Seahawks.

For the same reasons some don't want Bezos in Seattle, many don't want him I Washington, either. But nobody wants Snyder.

Paul Allen isn't an option anymore. I much prefer Bezos, who has ties to the area, to some private equity douche.

Why? Does the guy know ANYTHING about American football? He is the blatant billionaire hobbyest in the world.

I like him a lot more than Bezos... I love what he's done with Twitter for starters...

Didn't you just say that you'd prefer an owner than has more to worry about than the Seahawks?

Firing 80% of Twitter's staff and chasing off half of their advertisers was an interesting business move. His desire to move Twitter to Austin is also pretty clear. Musk taking over "engineering" for Twitter doesn't suggest he would be a hands off kinda owner.
