CAR, AZ, SEA, DEN, NE, SEA and KC. They are all relatively healthy and have the resumes to scare people (whether it be overall play, recent play, or both).

Take NE off and I agree. They are still very injured.

I hear ya, but they get a bye...and then an opponent they likely beat. In the meantime, they can get somewhat healthier. It's almost a cakewalk into the AFC Championship. And Belicheat and the boys will find a way to make some noise...rules be damned.

Epic gag job by the Cards today. Getting smoked by a very mediocre Seattle team at home is not good.

Rules? Such as what?

The only rule that matters to NE know is that they are prohibited from borrowing good, healthy O-lineman from non playoff teams.

Apparently Carson Palmer didn't want the MVP award after all. Playing like Pee Wee Herman today made that a reality.

I'm not sure I'd call Seattle "mediocre". Pathetic effort by the Cards though, no doubt.

Seattle is better than average, no more, no less.

If we can get Abdullah, Houston, and Hali revved up for next week, I really like our chances.

If KC had a real live QB I would give them a serious chance at winning the SB. I have no faith in Alex Smith leading them to the big dance.

Here's how I'd rank the playoff contenders:

AFC
1. DEN
2. KC
3. PIT
4. NE
5. CIN
6. HOU

Cincy would easily jump NE & PIT if Dalton was back. Arguably they could be the #1 or 2 if that were the case. DEN & KC look like the most complete teams at the moment. Great defenses are typically what win playoff games.

NFC
1. CAR
2. ARI
3. SEA
4. MIN
5. WAS
6. GB

CAR & ARI are early favorites. But don't discount SEA or MIN. With the exception of GB, I think almost all of these teams are really well rounded. Each capable of goin the distance.
