Not gonna bother to see who did what but yes. Yards don't win games ,points do.

The WR who scored fewer TD's played on an offense that scored 100 more points as a team than the WR who scored more TD's.

TD's is a poor stat to judge individuals. The totals are more influenced by offensive scheme than individual talent more often than not.

Originally the debate started when I said I thought Atlanta had the best roster in the NFC and Jetseyhawk said GB had better WRS which stemmed from him thinking Jordy and Julio was a push. It then morphed into a career comparison of the 2 guys and Harold started this thread which is really not about either lol

TD's can't be the end all be all of the argument. There are so many different types of WR's and what they bring to the table that to base a decision off of one stat just won't work out well. Such as Eric Decker has been one of the best TD machines in the NFL. Would anybody rate him as a top-5 WR though? My guess is no. He is a great Red Zone WR that has done well feeding off of coverage going to some other WR's and having those 1-on-1 opportunities.

Player A - Touchdowns easily. Harder to score once you hit in the red zone especially for receivers because of the shortened field.

EDIT: Course there's an argument to be said for a guy that can actually GET you down the field... but obviously the yards here aren't different enough. If it was 1,400 yards 6 TDs vs. 600 yards, 14 TDs... I dunno. Might be more of a toss up. Obviously you'd be comparing VERY different skillsets.

Good point, and that's pretty much the company line across all OFC skill position comparisons. But, it's extremely rare to have two WRs in similar schemes, with similar talent around them...i.e. apples to apples is near impossible.

Jordy is very good, but a push with Julio is silly.
