Somebody, I can't remember which coach, actually said that Livings was doing well at one point this year.

I don't remember who said it either, but I remember it too.....it's said he plays with a "nasty streak" but that doesn't overcome his stupid streak or his propensity to often get blown up at the line of scrimmage....The man is good for one false start, a holding penalty at the worst possible moment, or gets steamrolled.....he'll make one good block a game, and that's the play everyone remembers.....

I'm not ready to give up on Boling yet either. This kid looked really good at times, I just think we may have had him on the wrong side of the field.

Boling could not play ahead of McGlynn....that must mean he is really bad....hope I'm wrong.....

Lets remember Dunlap didn't see the field over Geathers and Simpson didn't see the field over a lot of people. Who knows what Marv is actually doing there.

That's a good point...it is well known Marv hates rookies.....still, I can't believe someone could play as poorly as Livings and McGlynn and Boling can't get a sniff....

What about Anthony Collins. He showed a lot of promise at LT half a decade ago, yet still can't see the field.

Collins could have been playing guard the last 2 seasons and he would have been an upgrade, but Marv kept him on the bench. Thanks Marv.

Agreed. Someone else mentioned this in an article either on ESPN or maybe it was John Thornton? Not sure, but either way they said that Smith has deveoped into a starting RT, and is good enough to be out there after finally getting over injuries earlier in his first 2 years. This allows the possibility that Collins would move to Guard.

I guess maybe having no sure fire answer at RT is a big reason why Collins was the main backup and started games there until the Bengals could see if Smith would be able to last a full season, and how he would do.

Yeah there is a big time CB, S, plenty of DE's and a couple WR's too. What position you want and I'll give ya the names.

We need all 4. Sad, but true. I'd say DE and S will be the most needed, though.

We need a pass rusher and another DB..... Don't know in what order. Even if Swag is good, the rest of our secondary is either old or questionable due to the injury or inexperience.

we don't need a wr, we just need to play the ones we have. putting Binns out there "as a blocker" is sort of stupid... so he's a glorified tight end?

would like to see how BJGE works out this year, he's with us for 3 years, if he sucks, we draft Lattimore, or whichever RB emerges his senior year.

The defense needs serious help.
