Agreed, but I think they send IKF with the expectation and hope that he'll work on the weak spots in his game (they're there) from having faced ML pitchers and come back even better

I think by next year he's a much better hitter than odor with less pop but much better plate discipline and defense

He's an emergency catcher at this point, nothing more, maybe a primary backup at some point, but he's not going to be anyone's starter at this point, but it makes him a great guy to have on the bench

Makes you less afraid to pinch hit Chirinos for Perez late in a game or in case of injury

They've given Odor plenty of extended time to get it turned around, Gallo's obviously put in some work and it shows

Odor hasn't done that in well over a year, his leash should be short
