I’m taking up the fact that you acting like Alabama had no choice when scheduling their FCS with you because you were dumb enough to infer the comment.

Once again, Kansas is not like an FCS school. Yes they suck but that doesn’t mean Oklahoma and WVU THEIR CONFERENCE MATES get to choose to play them and not.

Team strength is team strength, regardless of where they come from.

We don't excuse G5 teams like UCF last year and just say "well all those crappy teams are from their conference, so it doesn't count". You judge them based on team strength, regardless of where they come from. And if your conference has them built in, then that's the reality of it.

You are talking a lot of shit considering WVU is going to go from 2008 until at least 2022 playing an FCS school every year. And if you think that adding an extra conference game, that the FCS game is the one that goes away, then you need a helmet to eat applesauce. The Big12, PAC12 and BigTen don’t seem to have any issues with scheduling FCS opponents with 9 conference games.

If you want to know who the best team in a conference is, 9 games is better than 8. If you want to know who the best 4 teams are and who the best conferences are 8 conference games with two mandatory P5 opponents is significantly better than 9 conference games and playing BYU or just one P5 opponent.

I’m not ignoring any strength. I know Kansas is shit. But wether you want to say they deserve to be called a P5 or not, they still are. That’s neither here nor there because regardless of how strong or weak Kansas is, Oklahoma and WVU still have to play them. Western Carolina on the other hand isn’t forced on Alabama’s schedule. Not saying they shouldn’t play them, just that they choose too.

Are you more concerned who the best team in a given conference is or who the best teams in the country are and let the best teams play in the playoffs?

Even with a 9 team conference schedule, arguably the best team in the conference didn’t even make the conference championship game in the B1G in 2015 and 2016.
