I absolutely love Bailey. I think he is probably the best kicker in the NFL. But I wonder how many teams other than us would lock into a kicker for 7 years and $3.3M per year???

Like all contracts, the devil is in the details. For all we know there could be two years he'll never see or some other structure that makes this a great deal...but I am a little interested in seeing the full contract. Let's hope he doesn't lose the confidence that makes him so good and so clutch...

It says on the Cowboys website it's backloaded. I think it also said he is the 4th or 5th highest paid kicker in the league.

Which I don't mind..... I said in the other thread about Bailey. I still remember what it was like losing games because we didn't have a kicker. Absolutely do not want to return to those days

I love Bailey. It's a great feeling when you have a 53 yard field goal and you have complete confidence that your kicker will nail it everytime. The guy is good.

Obviously a move that had to be done. He should get plenty of chances with Garretts offense still in place.
