Linas Kleiza underwent arthroscopic surgery on Wednesday by Dr. J. Richard Steadman in Vail, Colo., "to address both a meniscal tear and chondral defect of his right knee."
A microfracture procedure was performed on Kleiza's knee.
Kleiza is expected to be sidelined for nine months to a year.
Toronto signed Kleiza this past offseason as a free agent.

i always thought kleiza looked a little chunky this season, like he was putting on weight to guard pf's . i bet that contributed . Anyways he's done, microfracture surgury is a big deal, amare is probably the only player to come back 100% from it. i really hope weems cn solidify that SF spot or else were going to be seeing alot more WF
