at what point are stats too much?

Do we really need to know at what speed the batter hit the ball? Seeing that the ball went into the upper deck tells me all I need to know about how hard it was hit.

Are you talking about Stat Cast? It's pretty overwhelming. Some of it interesting, but most of it distracting.

Yeah, I don't see too much value in that.

Playing in daily leagues, I try to use stats to my advantage. Unfortunately, however, the results have been mixed at best.

One good thing about stats, I suppose, is that you can pay as much or as little attention to them as you like.
