don't be an idiot. the jags are a threat to no one. yeah, blake fucking bortles is going to masterfully send belichick and brady home, that's totally happening. :L

jesus, what an Asshurt Brady Lover, everything I type offends you

"Biggest Threat" does not equate to a prediction they would beat the Pats, as a matter of fact I probably said 3 times I would expect them to lose to the Pats

By process of elimination, I think an argument can be made for the Jags, if you think the Chiefs are heading the wrong way, cause there is literally NO one else in the AFC with a case

The Steelers are the biggest threat especially if they get HFA

This..

And injuries for the Patriots. Assuming Brady still plays if the injuries to the Patriots get too deep they can easily lose in the playoffs. Oline, receivers, defensive front 7. They're already pretty thin in several areas. A few more and they're in trouble.

Pats Next 6

@Denver
@Oakland (en Mexico)
Miami
@Buffalo
@Miami (Mon)
@ Pittsburgh: with this game coming on a short week, on the heels of a bitter rivalry game.

Brutal... I really doubt the Pats will be in contention for HFA after this stretch.

Really?

They never lose to Pitt, and thats the only "really" tough one I see

Unless you think @ Denver is just a nightmare place for you guys, I dont see that team pulling it off, they are playing like they mailed it in

I dunno... but for the first time since I installed Madden 2008, I kind of want to play the Patriots.

most everything you type is idiotic and born out of butthurt for new england's success, but i digress.

slap whatever definition onto "biggest threat" that you want, it's a ridiculous thought to begin with.

Not this season its not.......A defense as good as any, a RB that looks as good as any.......Its not a terrible postseason recipe, and again, the AFC is just crock full of average looking teams, so.........

If not the Chiefs, Im not a believer in Tennessee, Houstons season just went up in smoke

Someone has to play in New England in the AFC title game

I think they're all tough. First for soms reason NE struggles coming out of their bye. That doesn't make sense:scratch: but it is what it is. NE has Back to back on the road games above 5200'. Not to mention NE doesn't do well in Denver. At the start of the year I thought the Oak game would be tough. Now I'm not as worried. The next three are division games which are always tough. Not sure why NE struggles in Mia but they do? Then end at Pit.
So if you take the way NE is playing and combine that with 5-6 on the road I can see them going 3-3 just as well I could see them going 5-1. Tough year to figure out.
Luckily for us NE seemed to be improving before the bye on the defensive side. But the offense struggled a bit. Hopefully, this time the bye helped all the bruises heal and didn't take away any momentum:noidea:

Who have the Jags beat of note? Just the Steelers with Ben throwing 5 picks. Otherwise, it has been the Ravens, Colts, Bengals, and the Texans with Savage starting.

Problem is, you can do this for every team

Thats what happens when you have a league with about 6 good teams in it

Denver will be up for this game.
Maybe but if there is one rule in the NFL its that it takes a ton of things to go right for a team with a backup level QB to beat a team with a top 3 QB.

Wait a minute.. Is Osweiler playing?

He and Denver won the last time the Pats were in Mile High
I have no idea where that Osweiler went but he is gone now.

7.2 YPA and 245 yds a game, 86.4 QB rating in 2015.
5.8 YPA and 197 yds a game, 72.2 QB rating in 2016 with the Texans amazing weapons
5.4 YPA and 54.3 QB rating so far in 2017.

Footballoutsiders has 5 good teams so far: Rams, Steelers, Eagles, Jaguars and Saints.

Funny enough, they have the Patriots as a '1 offense, 31 defense' which is basically the opposite of that Denver team that won the Super Bowl 2 years back.

The real team that should've represented the Super Bowl for the AFC this year was Houston. Losing their 2 best pass rushers and a OROY is a massive blow to the NFL, imo.
