I'm just responding to the hoards of people who have called him elite his whole career. If he is indeed elite I think Rodgers is an appropriate measuring stick. If Rodgers is at the top of the universe statistically then elite QBs should at least be in his stratosphere. Luck isn't even closeVery few QBs would compare favorably to Rodgers. That is a hell of a measuring stick
to tell you the truth, I am starting to get a little nauseated every time I hear the word Elite. If it means the best of the best of the best, then maybe you have Brady, Rodgers and P Manning (not based on current play) but that's it.I'm just responding to the hoards of people who have called him elite his whole career. A Year ago, id dis-agree, as he seemed to be excelling with a brutally awful roster
But I am starting to believe many of us have labeled him "Elite" far too soon
The division he plays in is honestly the worst ive ever seen, and has to be near the worst in the history of the game
His propensity for awful mistakes has become the norm
And his punching bag ways in the biggest games vs the Pats, is worst than an early Career Peyton Manning
As of the start of last season, nobody has more turnovers than Andrew Luck...People want to use last season in his favor? Okay...One of the worst gunslingers of all time.

I respectfully disagree. They are both great QBs but I cannot put them on the same plane as Brady/Rodgers/ManningWell elite is a measuring stick of QBs. And you're being a little hard on QBs here. There is plenty of argument for Big Ben and Drew Brees as elite QBs in this league.

Peyton's game has deteriorated since the middle of last season. He may have been elite in the past but not anymore.I respectfully disagree. They are both great QBs but I cannot put them on the same plane as Brady/Rodgers/Manning
