Isn't the All star game FOR the fans though?
They say that, but players have bonuses based on making it, so I doubt they think so.

If you want to complain about the voting, start with the actual players.
Here Are The Most Ridiculous NBA All-Star Votes From The Players
Stopped taking it seriously?Players stopped taking it seriously because they hate the voting process. Similar to how they hold their own awards now.
Now, I agree with you here. They say that, but players have bonuses based on making it, so I doubt they think so.
Pg for Brooklyn.Who the hell is Spenser Dinwiddie?
Who the hell is Spenser Dinwiddie?
Stopped taking it seriously?
Last year was the first year they could vote.
When did they ever take it seriously?
Who do you think got slighted?
KAT?
Butler?
Jimmy should for sure get named a reserve.
But, he got screwed by being listed as a guard.
Way to much competition.
Now, I agree with you here.
That's why they are no longer allowed to use it to calculate bonuses.
They can only use All NBA and MVP, DPOY etc.
Lol...what does that mean?I maintain you have to cross half court on defense to qualify
Lol...what does that mean?
Is he doing a LaMelo Ball, Devin Booker?
I have only watched 2 full Pelican games this year.
So, clue me in.
New CBA
Agree.That is awesome.
I'm not saying that he deserves to make it nor would he, but Donovan Mitchell was not even on the ballot. I guess it depends on when they make the ballot. But I think the reason why they don't allow everyone to be on there is because they don't want to situation like Zaza last year or something. I might be getting the name wrong. I thinking about the person who got voted a lot by their country but clearly was not an all star.
Drop Drummond, Add Dragic in the East.Using this topic to share my picks for the rest of the team. Share yours too. Keep in mind its 2 more backcourt players (guards), 3 more frontcourt (f and c), and 2 wildcards
East: Wall, Oladipo, Love, Horford, Pozingis, Beal, Drummond
Last spot was tough between Drummond, Walker, Whiteside, and Simmons. Felt like one all star was enough for Philly and Charlotte isn't good this year and Walker's numbers are down just slightly. I gave Drummond the edge over Whiteside because he's played more games.
West: Westbrook, Butler, Green, KAT, Aldridge, Lillard, Lou Williams
The last 2 spots were really hard here. Left out Thompson, George, Jordan. Went with Lillard because this dude is a baller and he's constantly getting overlooked. He needs to stop getting snubbed. And I've got Sweet Lou just edging out Thompson as he's having a career year. He's pretty much been keeping the Clippers alive all by himself
Drop Drummond, Add Dragic in the East.
Shit, I might put Tobias and in over Drummond.
* biased *
Drop Dame, Add Klay in the West.
It hurts my heart to do that to Dame.
He should have made it last year.
But, I give Lou the nod because he deserves it and the game is in LA.
Give Klay the nod because of winning.
