Remember the time Bryce Harper wanted to play for the Yankees and Cashman didn’t even call him or make an offer? And then Cashman said he couldn’t imagine Harper playing 1B? Good times.

No real baseball fan is turning off the tv is a team is up 2-3 in the late innings

That’s not the point. The point is that Harper most definitely can play 1B(as well as the OF when not dealing with shoulder issues).

How do you think the Harper/Judge duo would have looked in Yankee Stadium over the past 5 years?

That’s fair. However, I see 6 games decided by 5+ runs and another 2 games decided by 4+ runs, so far. There have also been 5 games decided by 3 runs(those are borderline). And it’s not just the games. The series have been mostly lopsided, as well. We haven’t had a single winner-take-all game yet.

He found a home there now. Phil’s organization got crowded in the OF in a hurry.

It was ironic that it was Zimmer, IMO, the face of the '78 collapse. Hell no he should've sat his ass on the bench. It was Posada that Pedro was threatening to brain anyway.
