I personally hate him, especially at what it would cost

But I could see why a lot of people want him

I remember his meltdown in his one postseason start, and I look at that guy and think this city would eat him alive

Cole's talented, but he's only got one season of 150+ innings under his belt. He's been good, but he hasn't really had any other seasons on par with 2015 and his peripherals this year have been pretty meh.

He has too many outings in a weak offensive league that make me scratch my head

I think the truly elite should dominate the NL

AL East is big boy baseball, and Id hate to give up a package of High End prospects for that guy

Nope. I went to a bar to catch some of this game, got there bottom of the 2nd, didn't look at the tv again until the basketball game began. Gross.

Brewers acquired SS Yeison Coca as the player to be named later in the Tyler Thornburg trade.

Coca is an 18-year-old shortstop prospect from the Dominican Republic who has yet to play a game in affiliated ball, though he was the 25th-ranked prospect in the Red Sox system by Baseball America this spring and he hit .307/.370/.409 with 12 stolen bases and nine triples over 62 games in the 2016 Dominican Summer League. Milwaukee also acquired Travis Shaw (10 HR, 40 RBI), Mauricio Dubon (25 steals in 56 games at Double-A), and Josh Pennington (2.29 career minor league ERA) in that December 2016 trade with Boston. Thornburg has yet to throw a pitch in a Red Sox uniform due to ongoing shoulder troubles. Cap tip to promising young Brewers GM David Stearns.

That guy was a fucking disaster last night. First of all I had no idea why he did not try to get Betts out in the first. Betts was running on contact and would have been easily out and please don't get me started on that swing in the 8th.
