I dunno. Selig didn't put baseball teams in the Arctic, while Bettman saw logic in putting teams in the desert and the tropics.

Selig did give us the WC, interleague games, the AS deciding home field, the last lockout, the only missed WS since 1904, mishandled the Roids issue, and moved his team to the other league.

Bettman put teams in cities that didn't need them and refused to relocate those teams when the ownership failed.

Well, like I said, the Yankees have no offense. Once they got down, they couldn't put anybody on base. Against a guy on short rest, to boot. Tanaka had full rest, I believe, and it didn't matter. There are two ways that Yankee fans can feel right now. On one hand, you can be pissed at the ineptitude of the offense that I posted earlier. On the other hand, you can think back to spring training and remember how you thought that you had no idea what this team was going to do during the season. Jeter, gone. A-Rod back but really a cancer to the team at that time. A lot of players older and injury-prone (Tex, Ellsbury, C.C., etc.). I didn't think that they would make the playoffs. But, for a good part of the 1st half, they were leading the East. After a slow start, Didi got his average up 50-60 points. Gardner was above .300 with a dozen HRs and excellent RBI numbers. Tex was killing the ball and made the AS team. Pineda was excellent. Nova was returning. The bullpen was phenomenal. Then, the AS break hit. After that, the offense - in my eyes/what I saw - just flopped. No idea what happened. Oh well, let's see what happens in the off-season, and 2016.
