Game Thread: 9ers vs Dolphins

Before the season started I had this game as one the 9ers would win. Not so sure now and at this point it might be best just to lose out..as much as that just doesn't sit well in my stomach.

Even if SF loses out, they'll still only pick 2nd at best. Cleveland seems to be hell-bent on out-clevelanding the Niners. SF is so bad, they can't even suck correctly.

Oh yeah....Miami will probably roll SF into the dirt.

I don't see the Browns winning any of their remaining games. Niners will probably end up with the 2nd pick. With no consensus top pick as far as QB, I think the Niners will have a tough time trading down from that pick. Take the BAP and then draft a QB in the 2nd round. Niners have so many needs that it will take two or three good drafts for them to be competitive again.
Regarding the game, Niners have played better defensively especially against the run. Ajayi should have a decent day running the ball. It's a west coast team playing an early game out east. Dolphins will win 27-17.

I knew offense would struggle this year, but the defense is awful. I know they have had key injuries, but this defense plays without any passion or heart. No depths or talent. Great job Baalke!!

Kap has played really well today. He made some good throws and ran the ball when he had too. Run defense was good today, but too many breakdowns in the secondary. At least the Niners did not quit.

Gase didn't really challenge with the run today. surprised Gase didn't try to run more especially in 4th qtr. Kap's best complete game this season

D had it's moments. Today it is hard to pin blame on any one thing. Celek had costly mistakes. Special Teams had poor coverage at critical times. costly penalties. Errors this team isn't strong enough to overcome

I agree. His best game so far this season. Glad he didn't take those costly sacks. Just imagine if he had better receivers.

Receivers suck. There is no talent on this offense. I'm shocked how well kap has been playing. I'm not going to pay myself on the back but I knew he was 100% better then gabbert.

Kaepernick with another dead cat bounce game....much like Gabbert did last year. This season has unfolded unfortunately pretty much exactly as I had feared - I just hope whomever is running the ship next year sees through the fools gold.

Run defense was good, pass defense was not. Tackling was terrible.
