sorry about fischer...my bad!

had a nice run tho

Fisher was sent down to Triple-A Fresno following Monday's game against the Athletics, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Spin:
Fisher, who homered in four at-bats Monday, finished his first MLB stint with two home runs and six RBI over 21 plate appearances. The 23-year-old has already proven himself at the Triple-A level but there just isn't room for him in Houston at this juncture. His demotion to Fresno precedes what is expected to be the activation of Josh Reddick from the 7-day concussion list.

Measured by team ERA, no.

BOS - 3.92
CLE - 3.91
HOU - 3.66
WAS - 4.18
MIL - 4.29
COL - 4.11

Interesting that the AL leaders have lower ERAs than the NL teams. That's not typical. Six of the top ten team ERAs are from the AL. The AL's overall ERA is lower than the NL's. Strange things are afoot at the Circle K.

I'm just really sick of Girardi throwing Tyler Clippard out there in close games. This dude is trash.

ERA is currently at 8.10 in June

Best part of this season, besides Judge and Sanchez being 2 of the best hitters in the game, will be saying farewell to Girardi

The Yankees have had a real weird June. They've outscored opponents by 47 runs, which, even with well over a week left to go in the month, is the largest such monthly split of the season for them. All that has gained them, though, is an 8-10 record that includes six consecutive losses, four of them coming at the hands of their bullpen. The latest of those came on Tuesday, with Tyler Clippard taking the L for an Angels' late-game barrage.

This isn't necessarily poor luck, either: the Yankees have three blowouts in June that account for 34 of the 47 runs they've outscored opponents by. Not everything is clicking at the same time, but when it does, the Yankees look unbeatable.

Meanwhile, the Red Sox have gone 11-8 in June despite being outscored by two runs on the month, and that's also in large part due to the performance of their bullpen. While the offense has been scoring just over four runs per game, the bullpen -- led by Craig Kimbrel in what could end up being his top season to date -- has made sure every lead, regardless of size, ends up counting for Boston.

Seager had a chance to hit a home run cycle in the bottom of the 6th, was missing a grand slam. Wanted to see that so bad. Don't think anyone has ever hit for one before.

It has not been done before. Mark Whiten had a grand slam, two 3-run HRs, and a 2-run HR. And Gennett got 3 of the 4. Needed the 3-run HR

Dear Mr. Farrell - Please stop using Matt Barnes as the set up man. Swap him with Kelly.

I'm not a regular on the MLB side here but two threads about Dodgers and they turn into Red Sox Yankee debates. Regular thing here?

It's a daily thread. Can talk about anything that occurred the day before. Not specific to whatever the OP puts at the top. Other fans can chime in.
