Was watching a Giants game a week or two ago when Tim Hudson was asked about Bum's hitting. Huddy said that Bum fancies himself to be a pretty good hitter. The announcers pointed out that both pitchers have pitcher-like career BAs of around .180, but Bum has hit something like 7 HRs in his career.

So he's defining "good hitter" as being someone like Dave Kingman?

Personally, I'm not really a fan of watching pitchers hit.
