Game Thread: #5 Wisconsin vs. #24 Michigan (Noon ET, Fox)

I'm torn...I used to like the Badgers pre-hoop....now I don't for some reason. My disdain for Michigan has only gotten worse since being on here.

So really I don't care who wins this game, but I will be a Buckeye fan for the following two weeks...painful as that might be.

I just posted the other day about how it's funny how tHoop can shape some of your feelings about teams.

Interesting. Wisconsin WR's Rushing and Peavy have been listed out with leg injuries but apparently it just came out that they were dismissed from the team.

That’s a ballsy, I mean honorable move by Paul Chryst.

Absolutely, it can work both ways too. I never had much love for Oklahoma, but I consider most of the Oklahoma fans on here to be knowledgeable and not complete assholes, lol, so Oklahoma has become tolerable to me.

While a michigan win would almost definitely knock OSU out from the playoffs entirely, I don't hate the idea of it. I'd like to see michigan have a great win and come home next week and get their medicine from us.

I only remember him falling short and then the OSU fan turned ref gave him a favorable spot. Then when asked if he thought OSU got a favorable spot on that call, Urban just smiled at the press conference.

I've seen some Michigan fans on other sites talking up Peters. He's pretty much just been a check down handoff man. Yea he's thrown 0 INTs, but he's thrown only 45 passes in 3 games and taken very few serious risk shots down field. This is a game where he's going to have to make some throws downfield to win. So we will see.

Michigan's also had quick starts in the running game the past three weeks, so that might attribute to them calling few pass plays.

They haven't really had to, that's true. Considering the opponents.

Wisconsin is much more likely to force pass plays than Rutgers, Minn, Maryland. We will probably see what Peters is really made of fairly quickly in this one.

You’re right ... these are the games that make or break players ... although I am a big offensive line type guy, I don’t ever place all the blame (or success) on the quarterback.

Unfortunately, I am voting that he is made of Velveeta....Looks like cheese, but it is really just soft rubbery goop.

You’re right ... these are the games that make or break players ... although I am a big offensive line type guy, I don’t ever place all the blame (or success) on the quarterback.

Michigan's oline has been not so good in pass pro this year. That's why i'm inclined to say the offense turns into a mess in these next 2 games against better defenses. It's gonna be rough sledding against Wisconsin and OSU if they can't run the ball effectively.

It could get ugly, but I try to be optimistic. Still, I am prepared for an 8-4 season considering that we will have lost to excellent teams. I’m not unhappy with Harbaugh and Michigan ... looking forward to next 2 or 3 or 4 games coming up.
