Game Thread: #5 Wisconsin vs. #24 Michigan (Noon ET, Fox)

We have a pre-pre-game thread and a pre-game thread, but it’s Friday so time for a game thread.

Wisconsin is -7.5 at home. Madison is expecting some snow on game day... should be a sloppy one.

As pointed out in the previous thread, Michigan hasn't won a road game against a ranked team on a non-neutral site in over 10 years. So I don't have much hope, but I guess that has to change at some point. Good time to start against a Wisconsin team that hasn't faced many challenges yet.

I'd feel much better about the season as a whole if we were able to knock off either Wisconsin or Ohio State -- we've struggled to win these late Nov games for a very long time and it would be nice to get that monkey off our back.

While a michigan win would almost definitely knock OSU out from the playoffs entirely, I don't hate the idea of it. I'd like to see michigan have a great win and come home next week and get their medicine from us.

I have to admit, I usually go into a two week depression after a Michigan loss to ohio state. Lately, I have made it so my schedule can work around this depression.

Michigan has improved since the disaster with Penn St. This looks like a low scoring game. Michigan had better hope that's true because they can't win a shoot out. If Wisconsin scores in the high 20's, that's likely good enough.

Obviously the best team Wisconsin has faced all year. However the home field advantage will be more than enough to insure a 10 point Wisky win.

I'm torn...I used to like the Badgers pre-hoop....now I don't for some reason. My disdain for Michigan has only gotten worse since being on here.

So really I don't care who wins this game, but I will be a Buckeye fan for the following two weeks...painful as that might be.
