We got a brief look at Patrick on the top line with Giroux and Voracek there after he exited the penalty box. They had a great shift in the offensive zone. Almost scored.

A lot of pressure there late from our boys too. Going to OT again tied at 2. It was Simmonds, Patrick, Weal and Provorov with some chances there just before the buzzer.

Another OT loss. Pretty annoying, but Lundqvist pretty much bailing them out again with 37 saves.

We should've definitely scored on either a power play or one of the odd man rushes by G and Jake.

Giroux and Voracek both getting their chances, but too many damn passes. One too many passes on a two on one and a two on zero, if you can believe that. Just thinking about this too much. Make the one pass and then fire it.

Too many passes in close last night and too many pass first forwards on the team in general . Gee Jake Flip Couts TK from what i read Patrick also. I think we are one sniper away from doing some damage this season.

Lol Referees not up to par yet. Patrick in the box after Staal clearly gets high sticked by his teammate.

The second power play unit was looking pretty dangerous there. Couturier, Patrick, Konecny, Weal and Provorov.

That's a really young unit. Probably about 21 or 22 on average.

Second PP looked very good i thought they looked better than the 1st team last night. We went 0 for 9 and 0 for 7 the last two games on the PP. They need to pick this part of the game up and get back to two years ago percentages.

That's the first game of seen where even his defensive play was better than MacDonald. So yes, if he can maintain that pace for a couple more games you can no longer make a case for MacD to be in the lineup.

Sanheim +2 with 2 goals on 5 shots last night and both of them showed a lot of skill. He may have earned his spot already. It has to be close.

Patrick too with a nice assist on one of those goals and +1 overall.
