I was literally screaming at the TV for someone to hit someone, woke my Daughter up lol.
How about when Cole crushed Laughton from behind. First nobody did anything then they let him stand over him like he was saying there's more where that came from bitches and still nobody did anything.

I dont usually like to complain about the refs i leave that up to other people but they were unusually horrible last night.

Cross check on Couts after Gee's goal was criminal
Why wasn't Coles hit from behind 5 minutes If that was Gudas 10 game suspension
Trip on gee in the neutral zone later in the game was ridiculous.

Linesmen got into the act also.
Flyers PP down by 1 goal Gee wins a faceoff clean and the linesman blows the whistle i could read his lips saying it was his fault.
Late in the game no icing wasn't the worst call but cmon give one back.

Whilst I agree with you, we still let this game get away in the 1st, 3 goals on 8 shots is totally unacceptable.

Also I hope Simmer didn't come back to early, if he's not engaging in physical play then I gotta assume he's still ginger somewhere. I can't see the guy all of a sudden abandoning the physicality because he seems to enjoy it.

Last nights loss was 100% our teams fault, we came out in a huge game and played flat and soft. i just wanted to point out that official crew should have consequences brought against them like players and coaches do.

Please dont start up Mav then i have to read another 100 posts about it.:dhd:

True.

You think we have guys not performing or a team that is struggling!?!

All of our player/team issues pale in comparison to what's going on in St. Louis:

21-8-2 on December 10th

16-20-3 since then

Currently 11th in the west, 4 points out of a tie for the final playoff spot.

Schenn, often getting 20+ minutes per night, has produced 8 points in his last 19 games, a 34 point pace across a full season.

That guy would probably get us a Cup.

I'll let you two buddies suffer with only one of these posts, if only out of sheer mercy...Lol

Chy here's my post from Monday. Great minds think alike sometimes.
Yep. I recall the PP looking pretty damn good when Patrick was on it. Simmer comes back and it is 3-19 (almost 16%). Simmer has 1 of the 3 goals and Patrick has an assist.

Too small of a sample size, I'd say. I like Patrick on the top unit, but you know damn well they won't insert him in place of Simmonds if everyone is "healthy." It's a good problem to have, quite frankly.

If G hadn't taken a puck to the face, we may have scored another power play goal in that game. It's impossible to say for sure, but he was certainly missed during one particular man advantage situation.

Problem is that Simmer does appear 100 % which makes Patrick a better option for now.

He doesn't look 100%, you obviously mean. Either way, he has the reputation, the numbers and he's the veteran. 89 power play goals in his career and scores about 30 for us every year. You just can't argue with it.

Correct, doesn't look 100%. Tough times call for tough decisions. Right now of Playoff percentage is 80.4. Last week it was over 90%.

Columbus another buyer at the deadline trending up.

That's fine. They had 50 wins and 108 points last season and still got wiped 4-1 in round one. They are presumably not as strong this season. If they don't win the Cup now (very likely), they will be worse yet again next season. Bunch of pending UFA's and RFA's, $4.5 million wrapped up in buyouts and 4 fewer picks than originally over the next few seasons. That's not a recipe for success in my book. They are a win-now team that isn't close to winning anything. That's worse off than us.
