Part of me still feels we had a better shot against philly than we did against minny at home. Then, we rematch the niners in their house...

in other news, sounds like kendricks has an ACL tear, i dont see this as a huge loss. he was a liability and missed tackles constantly.

Ironically, we've been a better road team than a home team this year, which is weird... Gives a little hope since were definitely a road team this post season...

I won't argue it, but we also played both Balt and NO at home vs on the road. The home schedule was decidedly tougher.

Once you lost out on a chance for a bye I said losing gave the Seahawks the best odds in the playoffs.

The odds are just higher for them playing the Eagles than having to go to the 9ers or Packers than it would've been to host the Vikings who already gave them a run for their money at home against a healthier Seahawks team followed by having to go to play the Saints coming off a bye.

To me the Saints are the worst matchup for the Seahawks so it'd be better to at least force them to play the wild card round and hope someone knocks them out and if you had to face them at least do in the NFC championship game after they've had to play 2 games to get there.

it's damn near impossible to beat a team 3 times in a row in one season ( When you do play them 3 times ) So i am glad they lost in some regards.

Also lets not kid ourselves, this Seahawks team can not play a complete game. They did NOTHING in the first half and it wasn't because of the 49ers. We have seen this same shit all year long against poor teams like the Bengals, Cardinals, Browns, Falcons, Bucs and Panthers. Against good teams they can't play that way and they just can not get out of their own way. 2nd half showed how unstoppable the Hawks can be when they just let Russell Wilson do his thing. Remember had the Hawks kicked a FG at the end of the first half instead of going for it on 4th down this game is VERY much different.

But i also believe that this team is not good enough to compete for a Superbowl so in my eyes every win from here on out is bitter sweet. We need to hit on some damn DRAFT PICS!

but worse than 100% right? I still remember the Hawks beating the Raiders and scoring 34 points or better in both games in 1983 regular season only to get the living snot beat out of them in the Conference Championship game.

Would be interesting to see if the winner of the third game was home or away

If you sweep a team during the regular season, it doesn't mean there was a 100% chance to win each of those games....and it certainly doesn't mean that if you played them a 3rd time then there's a 100% chance to win that game.

I would assume for the most part the winner of the first two would be at home. I know the Hawks vs Raiders was different as the Hawks were on the road because they did not win the AFC West the Raiders did. I would assume that is the not the common outcome.

Even though it has a 9ers perspective I did think it's a video that Seahawk's fans would find interesting as well since it goes into a bit of Carroll's defense and the chess match between him and Shanahan.
