Take your pick. I don't remember the last time I was this pissed off.

...Oh wait, yes I do. It was the NFC Championship game.

Well, at least you will probably have a 2-3 week span of not being miserable when the Niners make the playoffs in 2012-2013.

Damn NFL needs to sign off on the Manningham deal so we know what we got with him. Plus the smith deal, i wonder how the cap hits are this yr now that we are going after schwartz and still have the draft class to sign.

Ray is the deal expected to get done with Schwartz or are they just talking numbers?

Schwartz signed 1 year deal with the Vikings. This is obvious but Branch said the Vikings offered more money.

As expected. A contract designed to turn the team over to Colin or make Smith keep earning his starting job on a yearly, if not weekly basis.

Teddy Stone Hands Ginn re-signed for 1 year. Hopefully he is just returning punts and kicks.

Alex Smith received no SB so there isn't any gtd pro-rated. His cap hit this year is $9.25M. We are pretty much done in free agency once the Manningham and Ginn contracts are added. We need $4M+ for the draft class. Updating first post.

The contract discrepancies continue. Reporters would make terrible agents or contract negotiaters. Maiocco chimes in that $1M of the base salary in 2013 is gtd for Alex. I'll update the first post.

Alex Smith's $7.5 million base salary in 2013 is only guaranteed if he remains on the roster by April 1 of next year.
Smith received no signing bonus. Only $1 million of his 2013 salary is guaranteed. The rest of the full guarantees are in the form of a $5 million salary and a $3 million roster bonus this year. The 49ers can easily cut the cord on Smith if they're confident in Colin Kaepernick next winter. It's certainly not a bad idea to "buy" Kaepernick in Dynasty leagues this offseason.

Where did you get these numbers? Rotoworld says Rodgers is a sub-10million a year guy.
10/31/2008: Signed a six-year, $65 million contract. The deal contains $20 million guaranteed, including $12.9 million in the first year and a $7.42 million guaranteed roster bonus in the second. Annual $500K workout bonuses are available in years two through six. Annual $500K roster bonuses are available in years three through through six. 2011: $7.25 million, 2012: $8 million, 2013: $9.25 million, 2014: $10.5 million, 2015: Free Agent

Which is a steal for the Packers, they're seriously lucky that he isn't demanding 20 mil a year like his production deserves.
