Ugh. Really? :drink:

I have to say Baalke has picked up two of my least favorite players from that team (the second being Manningham). Beyond thinking Jacobs is trash, I am against anything that will steal carries away from Gore & Hunter. Comparatively, I even prefer Dixon for the money, also because he knows his place on the depth chart, whereas Jacobs still thinks he's hot s*** in the NFL & showed as much in New York by being a distraction when he wasn't happy with his role.

*sigh* SMH. Then again, I suppose I should shut up and thank my lucky stars that Baalke did not instead go after Aaron Ross or Deon Grant. And at least Jacobs' deal is incentive driven, whatever the heck that turns out to lok like.

Brett Swain - WR - 49ers

49ers re-signed WR Brett Swain.
Swain, who turns 27 in June, caught two passes for 15 yards in five game appearances last season. The Niners initially failed to tender Swain in restricted free agency, but he'll return on a deal for the veteran's minimum.

we should keep an open mind?

not that he'll become a Pro Bowler, but he MIGHT be a good role/situational/back up? doesn't he play ST's?

if he's that bad we don't have to worry about him getting cut.
