Got a link for Brandon Lloyd? Schilens could be an interesting signing, I do not know a hole lot about him, but he is tall and could be a good red zone threat.

Have I mentioned my love for Trent Baalke! similar thinking all the way.. Sign Moss, Re-sign Rogers, I thought signing Lloyd would be a bit overzealous of me but if it's realistic then go right on ahead. My two favorite WRs EVER playing on the same team ... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

Yes let us pray, that would be huge, and would give Smith a nice target to, who knows if were lucky maybe it will cause Crabtree to step his game up and become the receiver we all thought he was gonna be.

I'll say it again, Baalke pursued him hardest from what I've read when it came to trading for him. I think it's very realistic to think he would pursue him hard on the FA market too.

The question is, does Lloyd want to play for the 49ers? Remember he has already given the organization (along with the Redskins and Bears) a "Professional F*** YOU!"

But after seeing us in the playoffs and seeing Randy has signed he must be attracted to the option of coming to SF if he's going to make the trip to visit

I'm not a fan of bringing Lloyd back here at all. I think that's a little much from a character standpoint.

I'd rather go with a low key signing like Andre Caldwell and go after a mid round WR in Jenkins or Hemingway.

And QB, for that matter.

If we end up signing Lloyd and Frank Gore can stay healthy next year then it will be Alex Smith's year to shine.

With Moss, Lloyd, Crabtree, VD, and Frank Gore there is defiently a lot of potential for him to put up some good numbers, especially if Moss turns out good.

That's not what I meant, but I don't wanna hijack the thread.

Is there any contract you would be okay with offering Lloyd? I personally like what he brings to the table, but his attitude and what kind of contract he would demand scares me.

I'm with Clyde on Lloyd but it doesn't hurt to do some due diligence and maybe possibly get him on the cheap.

The only way I want Lloyd back in the crimson and good is if his contract is of the non-guaranteed variety a la Moss so we can can his ass without any cap reprocess ions if and when he starts to act out. Reports of him constantly checking his stats on the sideline throughout the game won't fucking work out well in our "run first" offense. There is a reason the guy wants to follow McDaniels around like a puppy...in McDaniels' offense, they NEVER ran! I personally don't like the head that comes with the body of Lloyd.
