It is a little weird that every single run on the Giants this year has scored via the homer. Only five runs, but still.

That's the modern era of baseball, juiced balls and 3 true outcomes.

At least the Giants seem to have busted out of their strange inability to score a non-Panik induced run.

At least FYWW is still crushing it. Who knew the pen would be our strength?

Only Gomez and Osich look bad so far and both are placeholders for guys on the dl.

I'd argue that Osich had one bad outing and has looked very good since the start of ST. I don't think he gets sent down when Jiggy gets back.

I was just referring to regular season action, but yes, Osich has looked good in his other outing and throughout spring training. However, the Giants have to send someone down for their 5th starter. I would guess Gomez. Then they have to send someone else down when Smith comes back (although I don't know when that will be). Do you send down Reyes Moronta or Pierce Johnson instead?

Gomez is clearly the first casualty. And that should happen by the end of next week (???). I haven’t heard anything about Melancon since he went down. Any word on the severity of his condition? I would guess Smith should be activated near the end date of the month(??).

Outside of Sammy, we dont have anyone coming back from the DL any time soon.

I'd guess Moronta goes down, which is a nice problem to have.
