man on 2nd. ball hit to 3rd base. 3rd basemen holds the runner. as he throws to first, the runner takes off for 3rd. for some reason matt adams decides to catch the ball next to 1st base and not tag the bag. guy would have been out by about 10 ft. matt adams just holds the ball next to 1st base. doesn't tag the bag and doesn't attempt to throw out the runner at 3rd. 1st base was a give me out and even after he tagged the bag he would have had a shot at throwing hit out at 3rd. ended up being 1st and 3rd nobody out.

Maybe but:
1) Kelly looked great through 5. Sucks that he just lost it like that. Also sucks because if he had made it through 6 before the wheels came off Farrell likely has a quicker trigger on pulling him.
2) the Sox shut out the Rays the night before.

He did get squeezed on calls in the 6th which clearly affected him. Farrell NEVER should have left him in as long as he did though!
The Rays pretty much shut down the Red Sox that night before as well

Yeah - not optimistic about winning the series tonight.

me neither. Especially considering how the Sox gave Clay the lead and he immediately allowed it to get tied again. but he only gave up one so thats a good thing for him...

I wonder if he even cares if the Rams stay? Most of the Rams' fans are actually still here in SoCal!
Thats because they haven't been watching the Rams for the past 10 years. Things are different when you get yourself hyped up every year and then perennially finding out the season is over by halftime of the first game.

Speaking of which, the Brewers are really bad.

Perfect prediction

I think he'll end up 5 average points give or take from .250 but if he's really off the juice, he could crash and burn.

The way he is playing i'm thinking i'll be close. well, he certainly isn't performing like he is on the juice so far so perhaps he actually is

In that case, shouldn't STL be happy to see them go?? :noidea:

That doesn't make any sense. It'd be like being in a marriage and having things lose their luster. Your wife leaving you for someone with more cash wouldn't make you feel any better.
