Lots of day games today. Looks to me as if Scherzer v. Wacha could be particularly good.

The Padres might score more runs today in CO than they scored all of last year.

Damn, I hated to see that one slip away last night. Always exciting in the mile high city, isn't it? No lead is safe.

Bryan Price has got nothing on Lee Elia. Best rant ever!

Yep. The ball really flies in that thin air. Couple that with the facts that CO SP Jordan Lyles has given up a 355/437/605 slash in 76 ABs to SD hitters and SD's recent hot hitting and there figure to be a lot of Padres runs today.

I'm working to get my ducks in a row to be watching! Padres @ Rockies and dodgers @ Giants at the same time.

The Yankees are a better team, and healthier, than most experts expected. Unlike the NFL and NBA, it is amazing to me how wrong these "experts" are in figuring out the best teams. I know it is April, so I realize it's early.

I've always wondered if there is more variation in player performance from year to year in MLB than there is in the NFL or NBA. IF there is, then that might be one reason that it's more difficult to predict how MLB teams will do than it is to predict those other sports.

Bobby Knight (in his prime) gets asked "Coach, how did it feel losing by 40 tonight?"

All hell breaks loose.

LOL @ Lasorda "I have never, ever ordered my pitcher to throw at a batter nor will I ever."

LOL @ Lasorda saying "Bevacqua" with as much contempt and scorn as is humanly possible. I have posted this video 100 times and will continue to post it until humanity gives it its proper place in the annals of baseball history.
