LOL. One thing that I knew would happen when the Sixers lost was that people would start dancing on the grave of The Process.

Did ANYONE expect the Sixers to be a 52 win team this year? They achieved my most optimistic expectations and accelerated the process by at least a year or 2.

I had them at 55 wins and in the finals

Classic young team growing pains. Nobody wins a ring the first time they get to the playoffs. This is exactly what they need, they are on the rise.

Yep. The playoffs usually come down to situational basketball late in games. That's where experience matters most.

The Sixers will learn from this and be better for it.

What a great game. Reminded me of the Sixers/Celtics playoff games from the 80's. Pretty physical too.

I sure hope they continue to improve. I like a lot of those guys and it would be nice to see some new blood in the East. It would also bring back the old Sixers-Celtics rivalry, which was pretty good/heated back in the late 70's and early 80's

Yes, those were great series', the '81 series was a classic 7 gamer and '82 was as well which gave birth to the infamous "beat LA" chants from the Boston fans to the Sixers after they beat the Celtics in game 7 that year, just a classic down and dirty rivalry that sadly we will never see the likes of again.

You know it was a heated rivalry when Dr. J starts throwing punches..

I don’t think so.

76ers win 102-43. Terry Rozier and Marcus Smart combine to go 3-40 from the field. Markelle Fultz gets some valuable garbage time minutes.
Just missed

Brown got horribly outcoached and Simmons laid in egg in the series. Sixers aint going to win when that happens.

Simmons may be overrated

I dont think he's overrated, but I do believe he was unprepaired for a stage that big. It was a learning process. He'll only get better as time goes.

damn shame

It certainly was a classic example of woulda coulda shoulda.

If Brett Brown calls a couple of timeouts in the 2nd quarter of Game 2, do the Sixers hold onto the lead and win that game?

Still standing by coaching doesn't matter?

Great coaching by Stevens and a couple of mistakes did tilt the balance in this series.
