For any other team in the country, 41 pts would be enough to win. When your defense is loaded with soft, overrated, overhyped players the last 2 years, you can't win anything. Tom Herman will feel more wrath next week when this team struggles to beat San Jose fucking State in front of 45K fans at DKR.

To be fair, Lincoln Riley was handed a program not in turmoil.
It turns out that at Texas it looks like it was a Coaching and Talent problem.

I don't think that you look for immediate success but you should be able to tell from game 1 whether or not it's a different team.

I remember Bob Stoops' first year. Sure we lost 5 games, but we could instantly tell there was a huge difference in coaching. It actually looked like a football team. Even from the first snap of the ball in that first game, it was obvious.

I didn't get that feel yesterday with Tom Herman.
