I saw a guy in a Lions shirt on the train a bit ago and assumed it was you, there can't be 3 Lions fans in Utah.

And Dimmick will be a beast!!

Never been on the train. I know of three others that aren't related to me. Good chance it was one of them.

Dimmick is a monster. Someone is going to get a steal with him. Hope it's the Lions.

He's the guy with TRex arms but a high motor? I'm okay with the mid round choice on him.

Holy shit this makes six possibly. I met a lady in Denver who was a Lion fan. I assumed it was you or Mebert's wife. He's a Rayda fan, so...

I'm thinking a fan club is on the horizon.

They have an article on the free press site from 50 sports writers for the NFL predicting the Lions pick at 21, it seems like 5 guys are the most popular choice:

Hassan Reddick
Jarrad Davis
Takkarist McKinley
Marlon Humphrey
Taco Charlton

Others who received more than 1 vote:
Reuben Foster (2)
Charles Harris (3)
Derek Barnett (3)

If I had to personally rank who I'd like to see the Lions take with the 21st pick:
1. Reuben Foster
2. Hassan Reddick
3. Taco Charlton
4. Takkarist McKinley
5. Derek Barnett
6. Charles Harris
7. Jarrad Davis -- ONLY because of his injury history - if healthy, is put him 3rd
8. Marlon Humphrey

Barnett will be gone by 21. Davis missed some games because he twisted a ankle and came back to soon and missed more. Almost took as he lied to the staff to play. I myself dismissed some of his history.

Jabrill scares me as a pro. Helluva athlete, but IMO, Killibrew is the hybrid DB/LB for the future.

BQ has shown me nothing to believe he's interested in a early WR.
Peppers tested positive recently. He'll fall to the 2nd round in my opinion.

About 24 hours out and i still see guys going top 10 in some mocks and falling past us in others. Nobody really has an idea how its gonna play out beyond Garrett.

Personally i have become more and more in favor of Christian McCaffery as i think about everything he brings to this team. We've lacked even the semblance of a running game for so long i barely even remember the last time we had a guy. And we throw the ball to backs out of the backfield more than just about any teak out there. But we keep putting the ball in the hands of guys who dont do anything with it. If McCaffery falls past 10-12 i would be 100% looking to trade up if it could feasibly be done. Ic he falls past 15-16 and we dont get him i think it would be a monumental failure on our part.

Of course i see mocks with him in the top 5. Most others have him top 10. But many have him falling past us. On ESPN right now one of their guys is saying #20 to Denver right ahead of us. So who knows. Most wide open draft i remember in a very long time.

No he tested diluted. It counts as a positive for the leagues program but it isnt quite the same.

The Packers just signed all-pro guard Jahri Evans.

Only reason Barnett worries me is he lacks the physical traits of the guys who are successful in the NFL at his size. To run a 4.89 when you weigh in the 250's isn't good, also didn't like how he skipped the bench press. Definitely can't argue with his production in college though.

With Davis, he missed extended time in both his sophomore and senior years. I've read some of his interviews and that guy LOVES football. He had me excited about him just reading what he was saying. Seems like an extremely high character guy and a guy you could build a defense around -- as he seems like a natural leader. The injuries scare me though.

I'm glad it is 33 year old Jahri Evans and not the Jahri Evans from the beginning of his career. That guy was a beast. When the Seahawks, who have huge issues on the OL release you, you know he has slowed down.

High motor and freakish athletic ability? Short arms is the only negative on him. He will end up being way better than his draft slot

He's only 33 and will join a better OL then he played on in New Orleans last season.
