My opinion is from watching him live 4 times vs the Seahawks as a STH'r. Seattle was 6-2 vs Sam since 2010 and we weren't well known prior to `12.

(I see what I did there)

My opinion is Sam does not have IT.

I can see how watching him with those shitty ass Rams can create that opinion. They were shit.

I am not saying he is great but the argument last year was about if he was worth the 1st round pick and of course me calling him taking them to the NFCCG but then of course AP went down and a bunch of other injuries and they fell apart.

He is definitely better than most give him credit for.

I just disagree about his value/performance.
He was the 1st pick. If you have the ball in your hands at the end of the game and need a drive to score the winning TD, Sam is not your guy.
I consider him terrible in that regard.

Carson Palmer is ranked 11th all-time on that list.

Bradford has half as many as Aaron Rogers while playing with an eighth of the talent.

The vikes traded 2 picks for Bradford, at that price I'd expect a over the hill RB to be the difference in winning.

I'll just point out that if the Viking's didn't think they could contend with the talent they have, there is no way they would've traded those pics for Bradford. Basically, they have way more than the "eighth of the talent" The Packers have. Quite frankly, I have yet to see you post anything with any actual insight, and won't hold my breath waiting for it.

One other thing, who led the league in least amount of air yards per pass attempt last year? I can give you a hint, but it shouldn't be too difficult, even for you, to figure out.

I think the NFC East and NFC South are just as hard to predict. Both divisions have teams that can surprise and a team who if meets expectations will win the division coupled with a team who has a fighter's chance to win.

100% agree. In the NFC South, I honestly think any of those teams could win the division. In the NFC East, I'm inclined to say it's a two team race BUT ON PAPER, the Eagles and Skins each look like playoff contenders. Don't think this year will be a playoff year for them but you never know.

Lol ok guy. It sucks actual stats shatter your opinion of Bradford. Kind of hard to throw the ball deep when you don't have WRs to get it to.

Diggs played in 11 games part year, Thielen is not that good at all and the Vikings had the 29th ranked offensive line last year.. Kinda hard to get the ball deep playing with that "talent."
Thielen was pretty good from what I have been able to gather and watch. We'll see if he carries it over this season but on paper it looks pretty good. Now that OL is just pathetic and everyone with eyes can tell you that. AP was also kind of a large fullback at this point; McKinnon is a 3rd down guy. There's a lot wrong with the offense, but WR actually isn't one of them, imo. (Well besides Treadwell being a terrible use of a 1st round pick so far)

I still think WR is a problem. Thielen looked the way he did because he was all they had. But by no means is a a guy who can be counted on when game planned against. Thielen also looked good because Sam Bradford is the most accurate QB in the league. Thielen and Diggs have 5 years of NFL experience between them. The Vikings need a clear cut #1 receiver for that crew to be taken seriously.

Bradford is more accurate than people realize, but it's comparatively easy to pad the completion percentage if the air yards are towards the bottom and you throw short of the marker on 3rd down like Bradford does; a function of the OL largely, but that's still there. It's a testament to the anomaly that was the Vikings OL.

Really thinking you're underselling the Diggs/Thielen combo.

I like Diggs a lot. Thielen not as much. But the fact is Diggs has yet to play a full season in his very short NFL career is a HUGE knock on him. Thielen got his opportunity because of injury. Took him till his third year to be an actual starter.

So I think you are overselling their talent.

Think Thielen would be a really nice true #3 slot guy....I agree with more attention on him this season, with a little book on him as a #2, dont love that

Your W-L ratio is way off. You have 293-219. It needs to be 256-256. You're 37 long on wins.

I thought the Giants at 7-9, Seattle at 13-3 and Arizona at 12-4 was way off also

Hahaha yea that will happen when you have 1 team in the NFC win fewer than 7 games.

I agree he is a pretty good slot guy. They need Diggs to stay healthy and need a big bodied possession type receiver as well.
