if he really wanted to help his team this year, he would have gotten the surgery. He was god awful.

The best thing that could happen to the Tigers, regarding Miggy Cabrera - if his back condition is serious, is something similar to what happened to Prince Fielder. Perhaps he will be declared medically ineligible and insurance will cover a majority of his salary (he is still owed $192mil). Having to pay a weak hitting DH (considering he can't do any better than his 2017 numbers) $30mil a year could damage the Detroit franchise for a long time.

No disrespect (I was rooting for Cleveland and I hate the Cubs), but the viewership was up because of the Chicago Cubs ... they are kind of a National Team ... people all over the country are Cubs fans.
