Tigers are making a run at #1 pick. Currently they are tied with the Phillies for the second worst record in baseball....but only ONE game behind the Giants! Considering Detroit is unquestionably the worst team in baseball right now...I give them a real good shot at getting the first pick in the 2018 draft. I'd hate to see the Tigers lose 100 games, but I think they have a shot at it. (I did not realize that Cleveland had pulled withing one game of the Dodgers for best record in MLB)
