Seriously though my condolences - the fans deserve better -

While there have been some good times during this decade long rebuild, sooner or later it's gonna be too much. Kings fans love the team no matter what, but it doesn't make the countless losses any easier to take. At least they finally let Boogie go and focused on mostly young guys, he was great but the team was going nowhere with him. The upcoming draft is very important, they need to hit it big.

Yeah - the Lakers either got super lucky for several years in a row or did some old fashion bribery - Almost have to rebuild through the Lottery now - But Magic Johnson got a great pickup with Kyle Kuzma - he was a top five rookie in the 27th - Lot of teams going to regret missing him

Kings have not gotten much luck in the lottery, usually staying put or moving back(like when they had the worst record). 2017 they actually moved up but the pick swap moved it back to 5 although that was still a few spots better than what they were pre lottery. As far as luck with draft picks, I don't think much has to be said for their wasted picks and guys they passed on. IT was a great pick but then they moved him for nothing instead of signing him to a fair contract. Very frustrating.

Always good to get more talent, but the Kings already have their PG of the future and several bigs, not the best fit for this year's draft. Who would be their target? Michael Porter maybe?

Unfortunately, the Lakers already gave away one of those picks (Russell), but luckily got Kuzma out of the deal. Now they're talking about trading away guys like Randle, Nance, and Clarkson in pursuit of cap space for the 2 max deal plan this summer. I don't like this plan at all.
