I had noticed that too. Appeared some players were out. Pogba played, Ibrahimavich started and scored. Why do they even have it?

Have no idea. The FA Cups is enough imo

It started in the early 60s. The League Cup is only for teams in the first four divisions of the English League system, EPL, Championship, League One and League Two. As opposed to the FA Cup, which is open to pretty much every team in England from the EPL down to what are basically pub teams in local areas.

The FA Cup, IMO, is the best domestic Cup in the world (followed closely by the DFB Pokal).

The League Cup typically doesn't mean much to the top Premier League teams, other than a competitive tournament to give their young players a chance to play against real competition.

Happy I bet that over. Was a little nervous at 3.5 but I remembered how much both defenses are shit. Kinda pissed Liverpool didn’t get the 3 points though.

Another point for Everton today. No Rooney with the flu so that didn't help. So I guess it is decent result since it was against Chelsea.

Wow Leicester tied it in the last second of stoppage time.

An absolute shit job of man marking by Chris Smalling

Damn I turned this game off in the late 80th minute to run an errand thinking it was over. No excuse for that. They had Pogba back today too.

I was shocked they gave that up. Hindsight says Mourinho should have just taken Smalling out. But he shouldn’t have been in that situation. Put him in the dead middle of that defense.

I’m happy for the result but since Liverpool’s (my team) defense is horrid, we aren’t finishing top 4 so it is what it is.

Spurs rolling today and Kane sets the EPL record for most goals in a Calendar year too. Is that 5 goals for Kane in 2 games now?

I think he set the 2017 record as well. Should have passed Messi.

Disappointing to see Southampton struggle this much though.

Man United stuggled again today. Burnley almost breaks 52 year old winless streak at Old Trafford. So if PSG gets knocked out of UCL, does Jose take over PSG next year?

I don't know. I think he's doing a good job at United. City is unfortunately at another level.

This has been a disappointing 4 days for them though.

One thing I agree with Jose about is the schedule. All teams should have played today. Just doesn't seem fair to give teams an extra day off. Heck Arsenal for example is almost playing on a normal rest week. They don't play until Thursday and they last played on Friday against Liverpool. Doesn't make much sense.
