Not really Cup related or news related but didn't want to create a new thread for it. I just went to a local race a few hours ago for the first time and had a blast. They had some modified's, late model and whelen cars racing. There were quite a few cautions but some good hard racing as well.

Apparently this is the 3rd incident like this for the company that the goons work for, and they have all happened at the same location, PNC Pavilion.

I'm predicting retirement is in his future within the next 3 years or so. The concussion symptoms are starting to get more frequent and he's getting them from rather mundane accidents. He's smart about CTE, already saying he'll donate his brain to science, so I doubt he'll put up with it much longer, especially considering he's getting married and perhaps start a family.

Could actually be an interesting experiment if Gordon drives Indy. He runs there extremely well so we get a little incite on if the 88's struggles this year are more team related or driver related.

Didn't realize Jr's spotter was TJ Majors.

Jr met TJ online racing back nearly 15 years ago or so. Jr liked him enough that he got him into some local racing and such.

Always wondered what happened to him and all that stuff, guess the racing didn't work out so now he gets to be spotter.

Not a bad gig at all.
