On the Womens Side, a Serena - Bacsinszky SF and Serena vs. Stosur Finals would be good.

On the Men's Side, a Wawrinka vs. Murray SF, and then the Finals.

I think Berdych would have a better chance against Djokovic on hard courts. I don't think that will be a good match. But hopefully I'm wrong, because as of now, it's not too interesting tomorrow.

Thiem vs. Goffin is something I'd watch if there were no NBA Finals tomorrow.

He is rising up the rankings pretty quick. Djoker looking like he will finally win this thing.

Apparently Bacinsky flamed out today. Dream draw for Serena this year. Will face another nobody. Cant believe she lost a set today.

Wouldn't go that far. Murray or Stan (the man who beat him in the finals last year) will be waiting for him in the finals

I'd love to see Nole win.

It would be a Nole/Djoker slam since he'd have all 4 at once, and it would be a career slam, too, of course.

Stosur is the biggest concern for Serena at this point, I think.

Stosur's forehand gets tremendous topspin. It's what gave Serena trouble in her US Open loss to Stosur. And that topspin explosion off the court is magnified on clay. I still like Serena for the win, but I don't think it's a walk in the park. Muguruza could give Serena trouble, too, if Serena is anything less than 90% on.

I agree if Muguruzza is not intimidated she could win the whole thing. The tennis world has been waiting for this chick to step up.

He will.

I've had my mother move on to better things last Friday and I've seen very little even though it's been on all the time.

But I saw no Roger and Nadal dropped out? It's going to be a Serby Slam. Count on it.

Serena today was very rough. Somebody even hotter out of the blocks would have had her I think.

Stosur cause she beat her before when it really mattered. It's in a person's mind.

Serena has stomped her in most other matches, so it's not a mental thing at all, imo.

I'm not talking in abstractions. Serena has a tough time with heavy topspin. It's the WTA, and Stosur is one of the very few women who doesn't hit flat as fuck. She hits her forehand like a man. Clay is a perfect surface for her to score a 2nd upset.

Agree.

Stosur, because of her topspin and serve.

Muguruza, just in her overall game, if she can play better then Serena.

Stosur beat Serena at the 2010 FO, and 2011 USO. 2 majors, so it's a little more meaningful then a one-time major win.

Do you think that's more dangerous than her kick serve?

I agree.

Either Murray or Stan can give Djokovic a good match.

I'm rooting for either of them to win.

A Serena vs. Venus SF would have been fun for me.

Or a Venus vs. Muguruza / Stosur.

Serena vs. either of the latter two should be good too.

The FO always schedules 2 great QFs to play at the same time, and ESPN would either do the stupid split screen, or just switch back and forth. It's hard to get into a flow that way. I want to just focus on one QF at a time, especially when they're anticipated matches.

Apparently they're doing the same thing for the SFs!

Both Womens SF are scheduled to start at the same time.

And if they end at the same time, both Men's SFs are scheduled at the same time!

Now, on paper, my preference is for Muguruza vs. Stosur, and Murray vs. Wawrinka.

But if both SFs are good, I want to watch both. It sucks that there's no on-demand streaming, so people can watch both matches in their entirety.

Unless I don't know about it. And by on-demand, I prefer both live and not-live too.

The kick serve is also effective against Serena, but more effective on a medium fast hard court like the US Open, IMO.

Serena was up 5-2, then faced 2 set points after hitting a few points into the net.

She then hit a return winner, and had her own 2nd set point, and won, 9-7.

Fun tiebreak.
