Clay will never be a good surface for him, but if develops a smoother game he could have some better results here. The other 3 majors we will see what effect J-Mc has on him.

You can't make this up. The rain knocked out all the tv cameras so they can't show us anything

Yeah, I didn't quite get at. All I got from NBC was that "there's a power outage, so we can't show you anything".

I thought they meant around the city, I didn't get they meant it was the TV cameras themselves.

NBC can't show us tennis but tennis channel cameras are just fine. I'll stick with TC for now

Anyways, now that we're a week into TC's coverage, here are my suggestions:

1) Have streaming options, so fans can watch other matches then what's on TV. This is important not just during the 1st week, but also during the 2nd week, during the QFs. The FO always schedules 2 great QFs to play at the same time, and ESPN would either do the stupid split screen, or just switch back and forth. It's hard to get into a flow that way. I want to just focus on one QF at a time, especially when they're anticipated matches.

I think the other majors don't schedule 2 QFs at the same time like the FO does.

2) Negotiate with NBC SN to have a 2nd channel to show matches.

This is where ESPN could also excel. There would be some days where matches were both on ESPN, and ESPN 2.

NBC showing a replay of last year finals while Tennis Channel is showing live action between Tsonga and Gulbis. Please someone explain why the fuck is NBC still covering tennis? Grand Slam Tennis should only be on ESPN or Tennis Channel.

I think the Tsonga match was over by then, they already announced he had to retire.

Sucks.

BTW, I think this year had the best French crowd that I can remember. Usually they're a little weird, and quiet at night.

But they've been great every day this year.

Isner, or Gasquet / Monfils would be a few others I'd want to see him coach.

I just want a good entertaining match.

And it would be cool if Gasquet wins too, since he seems to lose a lot of tough matches.

So normally, on the day of QFs, matches don't start until 5 AM PST.

But because the schedule is backed up, they're starting them 3 hours early.

I think Berdych is going to win easily against Ferrer, I think Ferrer is too old now.
