It's Syracuse. Last year when Clemson came to the Dome, SU put everyone to sleep.

Yep, you got me pegged, I'm a Kool-Aid drinking Husker fan.

I even stated that we may well lose 4 games this year, but I think this team, and this schedule, set up very well for a run if the pieces come together. Is that likely? Maybe not, but we do have 8 starters returning on defense and very likely our best OL we've had since Pelini has been coach.

Enjoy your time on RSS.

I really don't understand where you are coming from though...our schedule? Did you see last year's schedule? It was easier than this up coming schedule we have. The ONLY thing we have going for us is that our team is young, but I really don't think they'll improve AS MUCH as everyone thinks. There are limits to Pelini's coaching capabilities.

Yeah, especially since Texas has the exact same number of losses as Nebraska does over the last 6 years.

Difference is Texas took action to correct the problem by forcing our head coach to retire who won a NC, played for another one, won a couple of conference titles and won BCS bowls. Pelini has sucked since day 1, hasn't won dick and still has his job. Expectations are much higher in Austin than in Lincoln it looks like.

Outside of the Big 12...
I am leaning towards Mississipi State.

They return almost all their 2 deep on defense.

They catch a huge break with Vandy and Kentucky as their cross divisions.
They get Arkansas and A&M at home.
They were probably losing to LSU and Bama anyways, so its fine to play them as road game.

There is no reason for Miss State to not finish above Arkansas, A&M, and Ole Miss and flirt with 10 wins.

I don't know. Look at their tough OOC schedule. Southern Miss, UAB, South Alabama, UT-Martin :L

The Dan Mullen way of starting out 6 or 7-0 by playing nobody, receive an overrated ranking then proceed to get your ass handed to you once you play real competition. Excellent strategy to ensure you are bowl eligible before you play real competition.

They play @LSU game four. But yeah, they'll be 3-0 and ranked at that point. They'll probably end up 8-4 or maybe 9-3

If you fixed it shouldn't you have changed the bowl game also?

Well they lose miserably to FSU that removes them from the Natty. I should not have to spell it out for you.

Believe I read that Indiana has 22 returning starters.

Thought the Hoosiers would be good last year Oscar, I agree THIS YEAR they make a move.

PAC12- Aint gonna be Utah, lost their best QB last year, aint gonna be Wash St either..they will "coug it" somewhere along the lines...

Yep that leaves 1 darkhorse to choose from..THEE Oregon State Beavers!

Best passing O in the Pac, found a run game late in the season and are returning both RBs and a solid O-line this year.

Q is: Wether the D steps up....think they will with M Doctor on the mend at LB and a solid DB too. D line is the biggest Q, don't know enough yet.
