Baltimore Colts at Memorial Stadium around 1969-71. My friend's dad had tickets in the mezzanine area, so you really only saw one end-zone best but you were safe from the weather. :) It was a good time.

There's no question that you can see the game better at home on a big screen in more comfort but there's something still very fun about watching the game live.

Packers vs Steelers on Christmas Eve 1995. Thigpen drops a TD in the end zone to give Green Bay their first division crown in 20+ years.

He is still on my Christmas card list.

Nov. 10th, 1968....the NY Jets vs. the Houston Oilers @ Shea Stadium.
Went with my dad and younger brother.
Jets won 26-7.

I still have the game ticket stub, along with the program, which I had autographed by Don Maynard, Matt Snell & Gerry Philbin.

1985 Patriots vs Seahawks

It was a close game, Hawks lost 17-20... I remember staying at the hotel the Patriots were staying at... I went down to the Main Hall there and the Patriots were there walking to dinner and a few of them stopped to sign autographs and take pictures... I was able to take pictures with Andre Tippett, Craig James, Irvin Fryar, John Hannah, Ken Sims and Ray Clayborn... I was only 15 years old so that was a very cool experience...

My senior year in high school, 2002 Seahawks and Chiefs at Seahawks Stadium. Offensive explosions for both teams. Really fun game to watch, the Hawks won by 30 something to 30 something I believe. I remember the tickets costing 40$/piece.

I can't name my first game because I was going all the time when I was young because my family had season tickets.

My first memory of attending an NFL game: Playing football in the parking lots while tailgating at Old Met stadium.

My first memory of a play in an NFL game that I was attending:

For those tickets to the 2 games I sent my kids to I paid over $1,000 Canuckistanian for 3 tickets both times. And they still needed a Sherpa guide to get to their seats.....

It's crazy. I don't see how/why people do it. I guess I'm just not a real fan.

You Lie! The Seahawks didn't have fans until 2012. At least that's what I've been told..........

For me, I don't remember the exact game but it was in 1984 when my dad had season tickets.
He rooted for the other team...:noidea:

Great Patriots squad and all those dudes you met were good guys. James and Fryar have had their off field crap, but you met two HOFers and some damn fine football players.

Only been to one, Panthers vs Eagles in Philly a few years back. NFL live, is so boring. But, I love this sport so much

2006, Seahawks beat the Giants 42-30. The night before I went to my first cfb game and saw the Huskies beat UCLA 29-19

Their Super Bowl year... nice. The Jets were my AFL team having originally lived in NY.

2008 Wildcard Game Cardinals v Falcons. Tickets were surprisingly cheap and easy to come by since the Cardinals bandwagon wouldn't be flocked to until a week later when they beat the Panthers and were suddenly a home game win away from the superbowl.

Awesome flea flicker from Kurt to Larry in that game.

Stand up fella, the jokes are going right over your head :suds:

No, it wasn't over my head. It was 'I see your straight delivery, and raise you straight delivery."

Also it helps if the joke is, you know, actually funny.

Raiders @ Bengals

The Raiders were up 28-0 early and the rest of the game was hoping no body parts fell off due to the cold.

I wouldn't do it for me, but my son doesn't get to do much so I did it for him. A weekend with his sister and cousin in Seattle.... they had a great time. So it was worth it.
