I got my first round of golf in today. Tee ti.e got delayed due to frost, wind was strong, I 3 putt damn near every hole, amd I had a blast.

Etiquette question, some one shanked a drive at our tee box and it was headed for my friend so I snagged it off the bounce and threw it in play for them. They got SUPER pissed I touched the ball, what is the proper thing to do there? No way in hell do I let it go at my friend while my friend lining up his shot.
