Panthers (2-8) have lost a string of close games, putting their coach Ron Rivera's future in jeopardy. Andy Reid is in a similar position for the Eagles (3-7).
This game scares me because I know my Eagles have quit, yet I'm not sure just how bad Carolina is? I think they are better than their record indicates. I do know that the boo birds will be in full force tonight at the Linc. As an Eagles fan I'm pulling for Carolina on this. I want a top draft pick. It's time to rebuild this mess. Fire sale after this game.
I just put 1000 down on Carolina. I forgot that the Eagles are without McCoy. That's the offense in a nutshell. Pretty safe bet here I think. I hate betting against my team
I trust Cam more than Vick.
:mmph: Just for that I'm dropping 2k on the Birds.
How does the money line thing work? I really don't understand how this stuff works, as I've mentioned and my lack of knowledge on this has been apparent.
If you bet 100 on Carolina, and they win, you'll get 100 * 1.67 = 167. Thus, you actually win 67.
If you bet 100 on Philly, and they win, you'll get 100 * 2.3 = 230, winning 130.
Note that the spread does not apply here - you're betting for one team or the other to win, and the moneyline prices in the odds (of that happening for each team) on the payout.
Ok have to look at numbers on this one. Philly ATS is 1-8-1 they dont have starting QB and RB. O/U to me would not be play, could go either way. Carolina only has 2 wins but w/ a few exceptions have had a lot of close games. Philly has hit rock bottom, I dont know how I could take them at this point. Their defense would have to have a ridiculous game. I gotta Cam and Carolina...and If I lose I know Philly played their best game possible.
I put 100 on Car ML and 50 on the -2.5
I'll keep 1,300 vcash. I bet 2,500 on this game. 1,000 for each Carolina options, so 2,000 for Carolina. And 500 for over.
Man, you guys like this gambling stuff - stay away from the real thing, though.
