They have a lot of support anyway given what they have battled through this season.

I'm ready to brand them Canada's team.
but I'm loaded with Pens in the pool.

so i guess I am just hoping for Matt Cooke to get shitkicked. :suds:

Matt Cooke, based on how he played the Isles series, shouldn't get minutes merely based on performance. Get Jokinen in.

One thing for the Penguins is they have to be far better with the puck. So many missed passes and fumbling it at the lines. Ottawa's forecheck is pretty deadly

He won't. Strangely whenever the shit hits the fan he seems to be on the bench.

The only teams I don't like facing are teams in which the goaltender can win a game all by himself... Sens and Rags come to mind for me in East... like I told my brother before the playoffs started when he had the Habs in 6... there is one person I don;t want to see in this year playoffs... and the Pens get him next. If the Pens do not clean-up their game... it will be a short series.

On the Pens... I don't see much changing... perhaps Eaton back in for Despres. Fleury is a delicate situation. IF he is going to be your starter for the future, he needs to get back in the crease. I wouldn't want to ride Voukon until he stumbles being forced to put MAf in, tha's not showing confidence in him. But if you start him in game 1 and he eventually plays poorly again, will he recover ? I say you show confidence in your starting goaltender (whom you see between the pipes for years to come) and start him in game 1.

Would be stupid to start MAF but I'm sure the Sens and their fans would enjoy that.

Regardless, I think the Sens win this one (in 6). They have legit goaltending (which NYI didn't have) and possession numbers, etc.

One of the signs of a good team is finding a way to win even though they're not playing all that well. The Pens looked dominated at times, yet the Isles would make a little mistake and bingo bango bongo the Pens put the puck in the back of the net.

It should be a great series against the Sens.

Not at all, it's a joke. I forgot B's fans are so sensitive...

They are not sensitive. They are strong, intelligent, handsome and gosh darnit - people like them.

I tend to think the Pens will get back to playing "their game" in this series. I sure hope they do at least. That first round series was a learning experience...for an incredibly experienced team. The big guns won the thing, haven't even seen the depth scorers be too involved. Obviously Anderson is better than Nabby, but I'm not worried about them putting goals on the board. If the D gets back to the place it can be, they can win the series. The Pens put up a crazy amount of goals. 5-3-5-4-4-4. 25G in 6 games? The offense sure isn't the issue. Need the PP to stay red hot, along with a solid PK. THAT is one big difference from last year.
