He's definitely not that low. He's being mocked in the 5-11 range currently (5 on nbadraftnet, 11 on draftexpress).

The top 2 are relatively easy. Who do you feel is in the discussion for #3? Below that doesn't really matter for the Lakers, as they would lose the pick. I can't see them picking Dunn (another PG) or Bender. I like Jaylon Brown, but his perimeter game has a long way to go.

I meant he's 22 or 23 age wise. I see how that reads wrong. What I'm saying is given his age, he's already close to his ceiling prospect wise. Teams draft on potential when you've a pick that high because you're gunning for stars. Hield is close to a finished product and looks more like a solid starter. He's a late lottery pick, somewhere 8 to 12 probably. He might creep higher since the draft class is pretty damn weak outside of Simmons and Ingram.

That was kind of my point. Unless you want to draft a Euro center or another PG, who else would you mock to the Lakers at 3? Jaylen Brown would be one, but his perimeter game is pretty shaky right now.

Bender (the Euro center) or Murray out of Kentucky. But like someone said earlier, if the pick is #3, the better option would probably be to explore any trade possible.
