Going from SMU to VT despite SMU's record, Morris would have to be a fool not to accept.

There is a lot of talk that the next HC will have to keep Foster and his staff on and I think that leans more towards Morris than anyone. As bad as RichRod's defenses are, he seems tied to his DC as is Fuente. I am still waiting for it to be some random guy, though.

I have heard some heat about Pat Fitzgerald to UVA for what it's worth. That would be a great hire, IMO. I have also heard that there is better than a 30% chance that they keep London through next season and if they win a few more games that percentage goes exponentially up. We will see.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit to see London back at UVa again next year.

Depending on how many more jobs open up. UVA may not have a choice but to keep London. I could imagine the meltdown in C'Ville. But hey Jeffro, Mack Brown, Golden, and Grobe are available!

I'm pretty sure those 3 could do a better job than what London has.

The (very) few tidbits that the major 247 insiders have hinted at include the fact that Bud will be retained, which leads me to agree with the second part of that statement.

As much as I'd like Herman, sounds like he's tops for USCe now. Morris or Fuente to go along with Bud makes me pretty excited.

Yeah, they probably could. But 2 guys 60+, the other one just got canned. None of which would exactly rejuvenate the wahoo fanbase. I honestly don't think UVA is a bad job. It could be almost everything that VT is with the right coach and some time/patience.

If I am the AD and I don't see anyone on the board that can be had (Rhule, Campbell, etc.) that would truly be a splash hire, then I would attempt to sit this year out and wait until next year when hopefully the timing is better and London is completely done, contract and all.

My gut tells me UVA will get someone pretty good though. I would say it is equal or better than Illinois, Minnesota, Maryland...
