Another day, another Flyers L. Hakstol’s seat warmer has gotta be on at this point.

I love me some Jake Voracek, but what the fuck exactly is he doing on the game losing play in OT?

Couturier has the puck carrier Ho-Sang covered. I mean he is stuck to him like glue. Provorov has Tavares marked on the other side of the ice. Why on fucking God's green earth are you leaving Leddy wide open in the slot to go chase Ho-Sang when he's already covered!?!?!

I hate to berate a dominant player that I love, but you're a veteran guy now, WHAT IN THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!?!

It's almost as if we blew that two goal lead and lost that game on purpose, as if it were the plan all along.

Anyone see Couturier look to Voracek after the goal was scored? I'm pretty certain he was thinking the exact same thing I am now.

These are the horrific plays in clutch moments that are killing us. The game tying goal we gave up was no different. We literally had nobody covered for that one.

Ladd goes to the front of the net and fixes himself a cup of coffee while Eberle goes unchecked around the net and has a clear lane to pass it to him for the easy tap in. And that's the goal that ties it 4-4!?!? LOL!!!

I think Dave Hakstol literally has to start from square one in practice and teach our whole fucking team how to play basic defense again. I can fully understand a rookie or two making a blunder here and there, but a fucking guy who has over 700 Nhl games played!?! It's a fucking disgrace.

I've never seen a Flyer team be so consistently incompetent in their own end of the ice when it really matters most. I mean in tight games, in OT and when everything is on the line. This is after around 22 years of watching this team.

And while yes, we are getting the loser point often, we enter our first matchup with the Pens this season having lost 7 straight and 12 of our last 15 games. All of that said, we sit only 5 points back of them with 2 games in hand, so this is another huge opportunity to get some confidence and momentum moving forward.

Yeah that makes it even worse vets shouldn't make those errors. Bad enough with the rookies... I can't explain what's happening here...

Not only that. Voracek was one of the guys who got caught watching Couturier and Tavares battle on the boards in the OT of our previous game. Perhaps Ghost was to blame, but I don't recall Jake covering anyone either. So, this type of a blunder at this time of the game should've been fresh on his mind.

I really don't want to say this, but at some point, I'm going to be convinced that we are tanking here. I say that mostly because I think we have a much better team than the results are showing.

There are no silver linings when you've lost this many games as of late, but it was nice to see Giroux/Couturier keep scoring and Simmonds/Ghost start scoring again. It's all a total waste for this one game, but those are key scorers for us overall.

If you have more talent than the results show, there's another solution than "they're tanking". It rhymes with Rakstol.

So, we really want to fire another head coach just 23 games into the season...?

This is more on our veterans than it is him, at this point. We have at least 10-11 guys who have enough experience to know how not to constantly choke away leads late in games via critical errors.

How many coaches do we have to go through before the core of this team takes the blame.

I know Voracek probably thinks pretty highly of Provorov, as do many of us, but did he expect him to cover BOTH Tavares and Leddy on that last play?

That's one of our core, veteran leaders making a massive mistake at the worst possible moment.

I'm not blaming Hakstol for that one.

That's the way it goes in the NHL. 3 of the last 8 stanley cup winners have fired their coach mid season. Only 5 current coaches have been in their position since before 2015. Only 7 have been in their position longer than Hakstol. Only 1 has been there for more than 4.5 years.

It is clear to me that his systems do not work. The Flyers can't play defense and offense at the same time. They either lose 5-4, or lose 1-0. If you can't figure out how to get your team to play creative, scoring chance generating offense, without completely sacrificing your defense, you're not doing the job.

Which core? Giroux, Couturier, and Voracek? They're all on pace for near 90 points. What more can they do? Sure they have defensive lapses like Voracek giving up the OT goal, but these games wouldn't even be getting to OT without them.
